However, the remaining candidates of Class 12 and Graduate have been given an opportunity to fill the form from August 26 to September 9.
Sub Inspector recruitment exam in which month?

As per the estimated schedule of Gujarat Police Recruitment Board, the recruitment physical test will be held in November-December 2024 while the result will be out in January 2025. Unarmed Police Sub Inspector Written Exam will be conducted in January/February 2025. When the result will come in March 2025. The final result of the entire recruitment may be declared in September 2025.
When will Lokrakshak exam be held?

Similarly, the written exam for recruitment of Lokrakshak cadre may be held in February 2025. While its result can be held in April 2025 and document verification in April 2025 only. The final result in this regard may come by May 2025.
In fact, recently the chairman of recruitment board Hasmukh Patel tweeted that the physical test for police recruitment may be organized in November-December. After this timetable was resurfaced, in which the physical exam is also planned to be conducted possibly in November-December, it is being estimated that the written exam and its results may also be announced in the future accordingly. However, there is a possibility that it may be changed by the recruitment board due to some reason.
The exam will be held with the new rules
This time police recruitment will be done with new rules. As the weight of the candidates will not be taken into consideration in the physical test, the physical test will now be only qualifying and all the candidates who have cleared the physical test will be able to participate in the subsequent OBJECTIVE MCQ TEST. Instead of the MCQ test, a single paper of 200 marks will be taken.
After the physical test, the candidates had to give MCQ TEST of 100 marks of two hours. But now only one paper of 3 hours OBJECTIVE MCQ TEST of 200 marks will be taken. This paper will be in 2 parts Part-A and Part-B and a minimum of 40% marks will be required to pass in each part. Among the subjects of the old examination rules, subjects like Psychology, Sociology, IPC, CRPC, Evidence Act have now been scrapped.
How many will be recruited for which post?
12472 posts will be recruited in Gujarat Police Recruitment Department. In which 316 male and 156 female employees will be recruited as unarmed police sub-inspectors. So 4422 male and 2187 female candidates will be recruited in unarmed police constable. Applications are invited from 1000 male candidates for the post of Armed Police Constable (SRPF). 1013 male and 85 female personnel will be recruited in Jail Sepai.
