Gujarat Rain Live Updates, July 1, 2024: Monsoon has started in most parts of the state.  Due to the rainfall in the upper reaches, 51.58 percent of the total storage capacity has been stored in the Sardar Sarovar dam-reservoir, which is the lifeblood of Gujarat.  While Vansal Reservoir in Chuda Taluka of Surendranagar District has been on high alert as it is 100 percent overflowing and Dholi Dhaja Dam has been on alert as it is more than 88 percent full, according to the report of the Water Resources Department.
