According to the forecast of the Meteorological Department, from September 25, the weather of the state will change again and heavy rain is expected. Due to the cyclonic circulation created in the Bay of Bengal, the state will experience rain again. If this system turns into low pressure and moves towards Gujarat, heavy rain is predicted in the area including Saurasht. Due to the cyclonic circulation created in the Bay of Bengal and the shear zone, the rain system will be active again in the state. Today, the Meteorological Department has announced an orange alert for rain in some districts and a yellow alert in some districts.

Orange alert of rain in this district

Meteorological department has declared orange alert as per forecast of intensity of rain in some districts of Gujarat. Valsad, Daman and Dadra Nagar Haveli, Navsari, Dang have predicted heavy to very heavy rain tomorrow with orange alert.                                       

Yellow alert for rain in this district

Meteorological department has announced yellow alert for rain in this district of Gujarat and predicted heavy rain. Narmada, Surat, Tapi, Navsari and Dang have announced yellow alert with heavy rain. A yellow alert has also been declared in Ahmedabad on September 26-27 and 28 with heavy rain. Bhavnagar, Amreli, Gir Somnath, Narmada, Surat and, Tapi, Botad, Gir Somnath, Anand, Vadodara, Chotaudepur, Bharuch and Narmada are forecast for heavy rain with yellow alert tomorrow. Heavy rains with yellow alert in Ahmedabad, Botad, Gir Somnath, Anand, Vadodara, Chotaudepur, Bharuch and Narmada are predicted on September 26.

The state has received 125.07 percent of monsoon season rainfall so far. Kutch has received 183.32 percent of the season’s rainfall. While Saurashtra has received 129.74 percent of the season’s rain. South Gujarat has received 129.37 percent of the monsoon season so far.. While central Gujarat has received 121.11 percent of the monsoon season so far. So, 107.66 percent of monsoon season rain has already fallen in North Gujarat.
