Recruitment of Staff Nurse: The recruitment of staff nurse has been announced in various hospitals of the state. In which the state government has decided to recruit 1903 staffers. These staff nurses will be recruited through direct recruitment in state community health centers and government hospitals. The online application process for these posts will start after October 5. Eligible candidates have to apply online through OJAS platform to fill the form.

A competitive examination will be conducted for the qualified candidates. The result of this examination and the selection list will be published and the documents will be verified. The final merit list will be published at the end of document verification. Candidates included in the final merit list will be appointed through a fully transparent process. This entire recruitment process is to be completed in 6 to 8 months.

A total of 7732 staff nurses were recruited in the last 10 years

A total of 7785 posts of staffers class-3 were sanctioned in the state 10 years ago. The sanctioned posts have been increased from time to time as per requirement. At present, a total of 12,101 posts are sanctioned in various health centers and hospitals in the state. A total of 7732 Staff Nurse Class-III posts have been filled by direct recruitment in the last 10 years in the state. The recruitment process is conducted every two years to fill the vacancies due to various reasons including promotion / retirement of staff nurses.
